《奥赛罗》中的詈语修辞及建构

摘 要：莎士比亚是闻名遐迩的戏剧大师，也是举世公认的语言巨匠。他驾驭语言的能力总是令人啧啧称奇，而其中詈语的使用更是让人赏心悦目。文章以莎士比亚四大悲剧之一《奥赛罗》中的詈语为例，从修辞格和语言建构方面阐述和揭示莎士比亚所用詈语的特点、其修辞学意义和在描绘人物形象、刻画人物心理、促进剧情发展和深化戏剧主题等方面所具有的独特作用和艺术价值，为更好地解读莎士比亚戏剧提供一个全新的视角。

A Study on Factors that Affect Motivation in English Learning of Non-English Major Students in Military Academies

Abstract: In the last few decades, many researchers at home and abroad realized the significance of motivation in foreign language learning. A considerable amount of research has been conducted to study motivation in foreign language learning of secondary school students and college students from non-military universities. However, few studies have been conducted to explore English learning motivation of non-English major students in military academies although many of them have difficulty in learning English. Thus, the author hopes that findings of this paper can address this gap and help English teachers in military academies find ways to stimulate cadets’ motivation in learning English. This study attempts to analyse factors that affect motivation in English learning of non-English major students in military academies. A survey is conducted in Officers College of People’s Armed Police in the form of questionnaire. Through data analysis by SPSS, eight factors are found out to affect these students’ English learning motivation. Then, suggestions are given to stimulate motivation in English learning of non-English major students in military academies.

Seating Arrangement and Cooperative Learning Activities: Students’ Participation in EFL Classrooms

Abstract: Students’ participation can be affected by classroom environment. Class environment includes classroom seating arrangements. Cooperative learning activities are very important in EFL classroom, and they are commonly used in EFL classroom in Zhejiang University. Semi-circle seating arrangement has been adopted in East teaching building Ⅵ and Ⅶ in Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University, but no study has been conducted to investigate its influence on students’ participation in EFL classroom. This study aims to examine students’ preferences for different seating arrangements, and the effectiveness of two seating arrangements (rows and columns and the semi-circles) on students’ participation during cooperative activities in EFL classroom in Zhejiang University.
