主讲人简介：
Yujie Zhu is a Lecturer at Center for Heritage and Museum Studies, Australian National University. He is interested in the politics of cultural heritage, and its relation to issues like ethnic tourism, urbanisation, nationalism and religious practices. He is the vice chair of the Commission on the Anthropology of Tourism, International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, and an executive committee member of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies.
讲座摘要:
自1985年中国加入《保护世界文化与自然遗产公约》缔约国以来，截至2016年，经联合国教科文组织批准的中国世界遗产共有50项。“申遗”成为了热门话题。文化遗产热体现了中国融入全球化浪潮，建立民族认同感，通过复兴文化传统和推动遗产旅游来促进经济和社会发展的不懈努力。
基于在云南、四川、陕西等世界遗产地长期的田野调查，本讲座将探究中国文化遗产热的多重面貌与争议性内涵。讲者认为，文化遗产不仅是一个全球认证体系，更是一种被多方推崇、争议的文化与社会现象。在实践中，往往并非由地方社区来定义哪些文化应该受到保护与传承；各级政府在国际组织、旅游产业和大众媒体的辅助下，定义何为“真实的文化”并推广之。这种官方的遗产话语体系使遗产蕴含的身份文化表达，以及地方记忆概念为政治和经济管理所用。讲者还将探讨文化遗产在人们的日常生活中是如何体现其情感、文化及政治内涵的。讲者认为，地方社区并非是“遗产影响”的被动接受者；相反，他们通过消费遗产、表达争议、对话权威等方式，塑造了遗产的政策与实践过程。
