内容介绍：
Prompt engineering refers to the process of crafting the most suitable, precise, and effective instructions in natural language to obtain a desired output with LLMs like DeepSeek, ChatGPT, or Gemini, among many others. In this course, we will cover the basic fundamentals of prompts: their structure, design, and various techniques and strategies to maximize their potential. We will explore NLP tasks such as text classification, information extraction, automatic summarization, machine translation, question answering, conversation, and reasoning, as well as other tasks in computational linguistics, such as semi-automatic construction and annotation of text corpora. This course aims to demonstrate the importance of the art of prompting for what is referred to as the work of the future, which will serve as a bridge between human language and AI language.

主讲人介绍：
Nicolás José Fernández Martínez is an Associate Professor in English Philology at the University of Jaén, Spain. His research focuses on Computational Linguistics and NLP, especially information extraction and classification in named entity recognition and sentiment analysis. In particular, he has dealt with the automatic identification of locative references on social media texts for smart city applications and the identification of negative attitudinal functions on social media texts for improving citizen wellbeing.
