Knerr教授简介：
Beatrice Knerr is professor of Economics at the University of Kassel, Germany, and Head of the Department of Development Economics and Agricultural Policy. She studied economics, and oriental sciences in Heidelberg, Germany and Montpellier, France, did her Ph.d. at the University of Kiel, and her habilitation at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim where she had a position as an associate professor. Her research interests focus on the economic aspects of labour migration and remittances, labour mobility, rural development. Her research projects on international labour migration include field studies in Pakistan, Yemen, Spain, Poland and Mexico. She published about 30 articles on international labour migration and related issues, and authored and co-authored six books on such topics. Her volume on "Labour migration from Developing Countries. Macro-economic impacts and policy interventions" came out in 1998.
