August 5 to-26, the Chinese and Japanese University Students’ Field Research of China and the 10th
Chinese and Japanese University Students’ Seminar were held in
and students from both countries launched and participated in research activities which lasted for
three weeks and the 10th Chinese and Japanese University Students’ International Seminar was
held during August 23 and August
The year 2008 witnessed a rapid progress in the Sino-Japanese relationship. Actively advocated
by the leaders of both countries, civil communication between the two countries becomes much
more frequent and took on an entirely thriving look. Among them, exchange visits between youngsters
from the two countries have captured large amount of attention. It was just under such circumstance
that the Chinese and Japanese University Students’ Field Research was born.
From August 5 to August 26, a group of 47 teachers and students from
in
which lasted for three weeks. During this period, led by the instructing teachers, the Chinese and
the Japanese students were divided into three classes: Rural Class, Urban Class and Enterprise
Class and all the three classes had separately conducted their research activities in
and the surrounding districts and towns. Each class had a very tight schedule: The Rural class
has visited the comparatively developped Cangqian Town of Yuhang District, Xieqiao Town
in the city of Haining, the Agricultural and Sideline Product Wholesale Market of Zhejiang Province,
the less developped Ouniao Town of Yuhang District, govenments of Chunan County, Wenchang
Town and so on, Village Committees, Rest Homes, local leading enterprises, Hope Project
Primary Schools... and inqiured the local farmers about the Three Rural Issues. The Urban class
visited Modu Real Estate, Dazhong Taxi Corporation, the
Age Homes for the Elderly,
in urban lives. The Enterprise Class visited enterprises such as the Science and Technology
Park of Zhejiang University, the Japan-funded enterprise-AINAX,
Company, Wahaha Limited Company and has inquired about subjects like corporate operation
and sales. After completing their field reseaches, the Japanese students wrote their reseach
reports with the assistance of the Chinese students.
August 23 and August 24, the 10th Chinese and Japanese University Students’ Seminar, hosted
by
Universuty. The leaders of
and cohosting organisations also made special visits to take part in this seminar. In the seminar,
the Japanese students issued their research reports in turn and had rich and efficient communication
and interaction with Chinese students.
