SIS has encouraged undergraduates to participate in extracurricular research programs, including the Challenge Cup National University Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition, the ZJU Student Research Training Program (SRTP), and additional programs at national and provincial levels, so as to improve their capabilities for academic research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
