On the afternoon of Nov. 21, the famous linguist, Prof. В. В. Красных from Moscow University gave a
lecuture on ''Latest achivements of Russian scholars in the realm of linguistic-cultural study, pshycho-
linguistics and intercultural communication'' in School of International Studies, Zhejiang University. В. В.
Красных is a well-known linguist in Russia and has brought about great innovations and made remarkable
accomplishments in linguistics. Her excellent speech was like a brainstorm to everyone present, which
gave a framework of the latest achievements in the realm of linguistics by Russian scholars. Prof.
Красных's explained the linguistic studies in simple and humorous language, making the audience
laugh from time to time.
