Prof. Ye Gaoxiang, Deputy-secretary of the Party Committee of ZJU, Meets President of American Central University

On the afternoon of October 30th, Prof. Ye Gaoxiang, deputy-secretary of the Party committee of Zhejiang University (ZJU), met Prof. David Roe, president of American Central University, and his colleagues, Mr. and Mrs. Huffman. Prof. He Lianzhen, vice-dean of School of International Studies (SIS), also attended the meeting.
Prof. Ye Gaoxiang introduced to the guests the academic development and international exchanges of ZJU, and reviewed the cooperation of nearly 20 years between the two universities. He spoke highly of all the efforts that American Central University had made for Zhejiang University, such as training teachers for ZJU, sending excellent foreign teachers to teach at ZJU, offering books and reference materials to SIS, and participating in the ZJU teaching reform of College English. He also paid high tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Huffman for their great contribution in these respects.
The guests expressed their gratefulness to Zhejiang University for its efforts in the collaboration with American Central University, and congratulated Zhejiang University for its rising international reputation.
Both parties expected to further enlarge their cooperation fields so as to achieve greater development through intercollegiate exchanges.
