On September 27, 2:30pm, Prof. Si Jianmin ,Vice President of Zhejiang University, together with leaders from Teaching Affairs Department, Undergraduates Admission Department, Students Affairs Department, Employment Center, School of Education, Zhu Kezhen College and College of On-going Education came to School of International Studies(SIS) for investigation and research. The SIS leaders attended the meeting. Prof. Zhou Xing, dean’s assistant of SIS gave a report to the university leaders present at the meeting: SIS had implemented the policies of “[2005]1 Document of Ministry of Education”, “[2004]16 Document of State Council of CCCPC,” “No.21 Order, Ministry of Education” “[2005]53 Document, Zhejiang University”. Besides, Prof. Zhou also reported about the status quo of the formulation of “11th Five-Year Plans” concerning the undergraduate education of SIS, the teaching and learning resources, the adjustment to 2006-2008undergraduate education plans and curriculum design, and the confusions SIS has concerning some specific questions.. Vice President Si Jianmin and other university leader listened to the report carefully and communicated with SIS leaders. Meanwhile they offered many constructive suggestions and proposals for the development of the School in the future.
