On October 13th , Professor Bachman arrived at School of International Studies . As an authority in the field of language testing , Mr. Bachman is professor of UCLA and Hong Kong Chinese University and composed numerous important monographs.
His arrival aroused great interest among the English teachers and learners of Zhejiang University. Hosted by Professor He Lianzhen, Mr. Bachman gave an academic lecture in East Building Six 227, and discussed heatedly with the audience. The whole lecture lasted about 2 hours. The audience were all deeply impressed by Professor Bachman's humorous words and enlightening ideas. At almost 12 o'clock, the lecture ended in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
