The training course for nationwide young German teachers was recently held in Tongji University Shanghai. It was
sponsored by the German Group of the Consultative Committee for Teaching of Foreign Languages as Major under the
Ministry of Education. And young teachers from about 30 universities and foreign language colleges took part in this one-week
training. Miss Li Yuan, a young teacher from the Institution of German Studies of School of International Studies, was invited to
be the teacher of this course. On the basis of pedagogy, psychology, communication studies, and theories of other related
subjects and foreign language teaching, she gave instructions in great detail on how to design foreign language classes and
acheive high efficiency in foreign language teaching.
