Since the exchange visits in the spring of 2005 between Professor Philippe LANE, Director of the Distance Education Center of Rouen University, and Professor Tang Zhen, Director of the Institute of French Language and Culture of School of International Studies(SIS) of Zhejiang University, the cooperation and exchange program between these two parties goes on wheels.
So far, the Institute of French Language and Culture has sent 12 exchange students to Rouen University and has another16 registered for distance education at this university.
Recently, Wu Yongqin, a French teacher from SIS, entrusted by Professor Tang Zhen, paid a visit to all the SIS students studying in Rouen University after her participation in the 2nd International Biennial Seminar on Negotiation Studies in Paris. She asked about their studies and living there and helped to resolve some specific problems.
At the same time, the joint master’s program between SIS and Rouen University has been put on the agenda. Some agreements on this program have been reached by now.
