Theme Areas
The symposium organizing committee welcomes abstracts of paper presentations addressing research and pedagogical issues at the tertiary educational level in the following areas:
· Psycholinguistics and English language teaching
· Second Language Acquisition and English language teaching
· Corpus Linguistics and English language teaching
· Language Assessment and English language teaching
· Translation and English language teaching
· Multimodality and English language teaching
Abstract Submissions
All individual presentations will be 25 minutes in length, including 10 minutes' question time. Your abstract (in MS Word Version) should be a maximum of 250 words (excluding references). Please also include in your abstract: (1) theme area (state one of the above areas), (2) title of your paper, (3) your name and title, (4) your affiliation, and (5) your e-mail address and mailing address.
Each participant can submit only one abstract as the lead author and one abstract as a co-author. Lead authors must register by 31 August 2013 in order for the paper to be included in the conference programme. Please send submissions to: istetl9@163.com

Publication
All presented papers which are submitted by 31 Dec 2013 will be peer-reviewed for consideration for the Proceedings of the 9th International Symposium on Teaching English at Tertiary Level.
