The Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou and Shen Hong Research Group of Zhejiang Universitycordially invite your active participation in a colloquium on “Photographic Collections that Have Recorded and Preserved Historical Memories of Hangzhou,” to be held at Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, May 15-18, 2016.
Abstracts for prospective papers on the following topics are welcome:
1. Collections of old photographs about Hangzhou and their studies at home and abroad.
2. The written description and image representation (including both pictures and photographs) by foreigners who visited Hangzhou before 1949.
3. Hidden stories behind specific old photographs of Hangzhou.

Registration
This international conference does not ask for registration fee. Once the paper abstract is accepted, the participant’s travel expenses and accommodation in Hangzhou during the conference will be covered by Lingyin Temple.
