On March 29th, a delegation of Universidad Pontificia De Salamanca (UPSA) visited the School of International Studies. Professor Fang Fan, deputy dean hosted the meeting and Ms. Lu Yun, director of Institute of the Spanish Language was also present.
After extending her warm welcome to the guests, Professor Fang Fan introduced a profile of the SIS, including its subjects and international exchange programs. Afterwards, Professor Mercedes introduced the history of her college and its admission of Chinese students. Starting to accept Chinese students since 2012, UPSA now has 26 collaborative colleges and universities in Chinese mainland and Taiwan and teaching is highly valued in the UPSA, according to Professor Mercedes.
This meeting pushed forward the collaboration between the two universities and made possible a consensus of collaborative details. In the end, professors from the UPSA and the SIS had discussions on possible cooperative and academic exchanges. The visit eventually rounded off in a friendly atmosphere.
