Framework Cooperation Agreement with Université Paris Nord Signed
After one year’s contact and negotiation, School of International Studies (SIS), Zhejiang University and Université Paris Nord officially signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement. This was the first time for the SIS to sign a cooperation agreement with a French university.
Université Paris Nord grew out of Sorbonne Université founded in 1197, which was the first university in Europe and known as mother of European universities. The education reform in 1968 separated Sorbonne Université into 13 independent comprehensive universities, among which, Université Paris Nord has the most complete range of disciplines.
Academic exchanges and exchange programs for students, teachers and scholars will be carried out between SIS and Université Paris Nord based on this agreement. Thanks to the great efforts made by leadership and teachers of SIS and strong support from other departments, this program was finally established. With the internationalization, SIS will cooperate with more overseas universities and institutions, helping boost the other foreign languages more globalized.
