Prof. Liu Haitao from the SIS was Listed as “2018 Most Cited Chinese Researchers” for Five Years in a Row

 

On January 17, “2018 Most Cited Chinese Researchers” was officially released by Elsevier, with 1899 scholars from 229 universities, research centers and enterprises on the list, covering 38 disciplines including Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Social Sciences, and Arts and Humanities.


 

Prof. Liu Haitao from the SIS made onto the list for five years in a row since 2014 for his exceptional performance in social sciences. According to statistics, 31 scholars of this field were on the list, basically the same as previous years.

 With continuous improvement of China’s influence and status in international research, it is particularly important to recognize outstanding scholars who lead academic progress.
