From January 19 to February 1 and February 2 to 15, 2025, students from Zhejiang University took part in two sessions of the Oxford Prospects Programme (OPP), which combined academic engagement with British cultural experiences, providing students with a platform for personal and intellectual growth.
During the two-week program, students immersed themselves in a diverse range of academic modules, including PPEL (Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law), LLD (Literature, Language, Digital Culture and Communication Studies), STEM (New Frontiers of Science: Math, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering), MS (Medical Science), and BFM (Business, Finance, Management).
While attending academic lectures delivered by Oxford's leading scholars, students also enhanced their cross-cultural communication skills through carefully-planned social events. For example, they attended the Winter Ball at Oxford Town Hall, where they showcased their talents and experienced traditional British social culture. Cultural excursions included visits to iconic landmarks such as the British Museum, Houses of Parliament, and Shakespeare's Birthplace. Complementing these visits were practical workshops on Public Speaking and British Etiquettes.
By fostering both intellectual curiosity and global connections, the Oxford Prospects Programme empowered students to step confidently onto the world stage, with the knowledge and skills to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
